Milford, Connecticut is a coastal city and it resides in southwestern New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. It's located between Bridgeport and New Haven. Milford was one of the early settlements in south central Connecticut, and eventually this gave rise to several towns that were created from parts of Milford, such as Woodbridge, Bethany, Orange, and West Haven.

In post World-War II, Milford experienced a large amount of suburbanization, and Milford experienced the Interstate 95 routed through their town. In 1958, the Milford section was fully completed.

When the 1960s and 1970s arrived, construction on the Connecticut Post Mall began, and it was one of the state's largest shopping malls. There was also the development of Milford's stretch of the Boston Post Road, with a notable business called SCELBI Computer Counseling, which was accredited as the world's first personal-computer manufacturer.

Every year, on the third Sunday in August, Milford celebrates its annual Oyster Festival, which is a combination of a town fair with the celebration fo the town's location, in Long Island Sound, rich for its shellfish. It includes kayak and canoe races, musical performances, and classic car shows.

We carry many parts on our truck so that were were able to fix the flushing issues by resetting the float assembly. We were also able to ensure that the bowl was properly reset & secured. Most of all, we were able to exceed the customers expectations - which we always strive to do. In the customers words we "assessed the issue and fixed teh problem in a very timely manner". He said we did an "Excellent job" and he was "Totally satisfied".

We have been running a pre-season special on A/C maintenance for only $99.00.  Customer took advantage of this special and we performed an A/C maintenance.  Checked condition of outdoor coil; checked contactor; checked capacitors; checked blower motor; checked blower wheel; inspected & tightened all electrical connections; confirmed thermostat cycled unit on & off; changed air filter. Advised the customer that the system is over 30 years old and in need of several repairs to ensure that it would operate through an entire hot summer without any breakdowns.  The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has determined that the average life span of a central A/C system is 15 years and, therefore, we recommend customers follow the Rule of 5000 when deciding to repair or replace a system.  To use the Rule of 5000 take the age of the system times the cost of recommended repairs - if the outcome is greater than $5,000 then the system should be replaced to avoid spending too much money on repairing a system that is too close to then end of its useful life. Customer was very happy that we were able to explain the expected life span of their system and scheduled a comfort consultant for a FREE estimate to replace their HVAC system.

We have an afternoon shift to accomodate customers with very tight schedules.  Technician was able to start right at customers house right at 1pm do he could do it on his lunch hour. We performed 14-point tune-up for his Lennox A/C.  Advised customer that his contactor was pitting badly and could result in further damage to his compressor.  Also advised that his air flow was below manufactuer requriements and set customer up for Free duct system analysis.

Our technician complete a complete 14-point Tune-Up for the customers Carrier Air Condition.  Started with the thermostat to ensure that it was calibrated and cycled A/C on & off correctly;changed the air filter; checked the blower amperage; checked & tightened all electrical connections; made sure blower wheel was clean; checked the static pressure to ensure system had proper airflow; cleared the condensate drain to ensure it didn't back up & leak during cooling season; checked condenser coil and cleared debris blocking airflow; checked the capacitor for proper rating; checked superheat & subcoolilng to ensure the Freon levels were correct; lubricated fan motors; and checked the temperature drop over the coil to ensure system was cooling home.

Our technician complete a complete 14-point Tune-Up for the customers Carrier Air Condition.  Our technician started at the thermostat to ensure that it was calibrated and cycled A/C on & off correctly; then changed the air filter; checked the blower amperage; checked & tightened all electrical connections; made sure blower wheel was clean; checked the static pressure to ensure system had proper airflow; cleared the condensate drain to ensure it didn't back up & leak during cooling season; checked condenser coil and cleared debris blocking airflow; checked the capacitor for proper rating; checked superheat & subcoolilng to ensure the Freon levels were correct; lubricated fan motors; and checked the temperature drop over the coil to ensure system was cooling home.

By checking the capacitor we were able to determine that it was below the rating.  If a capacitor is more than 6% less than it's rating, it should be replaced to avoid damaging the motor due to overheating - which would be a costly repair.  Customer is now aware of potential issue with system that she would not have know about w/out preventative maintenance.

Hello, I am a current customer. Can you please have someone contact me on the below? I purchased the multi-year plan for two zones as well as a cleaning for the whole house. Upon arrival the techs say the cleaning is only for one zone, after it was discussed and agreed upon with the estimator for two. Then I am told its an additional $450 for 5 small vents, as compared to basically same cost for rest of the house. Outlandish if you ask me. I am hoping this was just a slip up, and hope to hear from you on remedying the situation. Best, Stephen
